I know somebody on here has one or more of these. About how much are they worth? Any specific issues to watch out for? Thanks.

Guess I should have searched the archives first....

Why do you think I'm asking about them?

It was listed. It was a pretty good deal for what it was. Sig-x is the GI guy. I think he has owned 5 of the 100. Maybe more, maybe less. I think he wants to try them all.

$14K is a good price. I've seen a GI stripped lower sell for $16500. If original it may be a little out of spec but easily repaired by M60joe. If your looking for a shooter, you can't go wrong with one of these as they are extremely durable. I just got mine not too long ago and it was worth every penny. Good luck with your decision and take care.

I missed one of these early last year from Ruben Mendiola, I think it was only12.5K. Anyhow, I had placed an order for a Colt RR M16A1 and then the next day the GI SS receiver was listed, I called and he said I was 15 minutes too late. (It was actually sold within half an hour of being posted). I went ahead and got the Colt, but still on the lookout for a GI receiver (when I have the money at least).
They are very sturdy recievers. Most are very tight and will have to get the top deck milled. I honestly run the crap out of all mine and never had a issue.
That's why I still want one myself, but I'm still recovering from the last M16 purchase
