Anyone here try one of these? It uses modified links but the price is less than some of the competition. No idea how it runs (no idea about it at all really). Just curious.

been discussed several times already.

1. Uses their modified links which cost something about 5-10 times the regular links.
2. No one in their right mind is going to have their Registered Receiver cut up just to be able to use this belt fed upper.
3. Basically only market for full auto is for RDIAS owners, and they would be the only ones that got it yet.

Now I'm confused...I thought the Valkyrie Armament upper was the one that you had to cut the receiver with...this one requres it too? They don't have much information on the webpage about it and certainly didn't mention cutting the receiver...you'd think they would want to mention a tiny little detail like that.
Guess that's why I asked, I didn't see much about this one even with a search. Thank you.

Oh, and to add, that is why MGI doesn't say anything about cutting the lower, because with their lower, you don't have to cut it. They have a replace able mag well, which is the normal area a RR would be cut. So by buying one of their set ups, you'd only be able to use it with a RDIAS, and there wouldn't be a host RR option to cut it. A couple of people who have gotten them have said they run just fine, but with ARES finally shipping uppers, I'd be hard pressed to get this one over a shrike. The links bug me. I heard them say they figured out a way to get it to run with normal links, but as of yet, I haven't seen this happen.

I have an MGI lower and Shrike. I like the MGI lower with the Shrike as I have a custom magwell that will directly accept SAW boxes for a low profile setup and still take mags/drums.
Below are some pics.

I have drooled over the pictures of your setup and the videos on your site (though they don't seem to work these days?) for quite some time now. Thanks for posting! Now if they would just do another run of AK74 magwells...
