Dakota Tactical MP5K clone as a host?

I am thinking about a Dakota Tactical MP5K clone. I have a few questions.

1) Would it be suitable for a registered conversion sear later in life? If so, are these things rare or fairly easy to find given you have the money?

2) As of yesterday, here in Michigan we now are allowed suppressors. What would be the best one and why?

I'm 90% sure that the DT guns are sear ready. Even if it isn't, the only thing you'd need would be a f/a carrier, or weld the semi. If you want a sear for it down the road, they are around. You'd be able to find one, just what the price would be. Expect $11-$14k. As far as a suppressor, "best" is very subjective. I've got a couple by gemtech, YHM, AAC, among others. I like the 3-lug mount just to make it easy, and just feels like an HK.

Dumb question. Could the same suppressor with a 3-lug mount serve dual duty with a Beretta 92FS? Thinking about a Gemtech Tundra or Raptor.

Gemtech makes a suppressor called the Multi-mount (I think) that can be adapted to 3-lug use or Nielsen device for use with pistols. I have heard it is basically a copy of the SWR Trident which has a variety of mount adapters available. I chose the Trident because it has SS internals over the Al internals of the Gemtech.

The raptor couldn't. You'd want a suppressor that you can change the mounting system on it. The gemtech mult mount is what you'd want to look at if you want a gemtech can. You can switch out the mount, so go to 1/2x28 for the beretta, and then install the 3-lug mount for the MP5.

I use a SWR Trident on my MP5-N with the 3 lug mount and on my Glock with the LID. You can acomplish the same thing with a Gemtech Multi-mount, AAC Ti-rant or SWR's new Octane.

I have a Dakota MP5K-N. Its a great sear host. I've only put about 400 rounds through it, but no problems of any kind with my sear. While the K can be made, Joe doesn't "stock" them. Made to order basis. If you got the cash you can get one.
