SBS Saiga 12?
I know, the tv show sucks.... But this has me thinking for my next NFA item.

The RTS-SBS-12
8" Saiga 12 with a side folder.
I was thinking of doing a .410, but the 12 is cheaper to feed.
Would be cheaper to to do the conversion yourself by buying a Saiga 12 and doing the 922r and then going with the NFA paper work, or just buying one ready to go?
If you're mechanically inclined and have the necessary tools, why not?

I went the tromix route...its fun.
I'm currently doing a SBS S12 myself. I have access to a machine shop and some limited experience so it's something new for me.I'm cutting it down to 13" and just leaving the gas block where it is. I'll let you know how it goes when I get my Tax stamp back, i'm about 3 months in on waiting.
=(
I was at a gun range and they had a Saiga SBS for rent, the thing is awesome. It said tromix on the side of it. It would shoot any typr of round through it.
They had a 20 round drum with it. I have to say it was the most fun I ever had with a shotgun.
Wish they were legal for me to own here.
My Tromix runs like a raped ape. The short reset trigger is crisp and pretty light and it digests even the cheap 100rd bulkpack from WalMart. Using the Federal Premium 00 buck with the flite control wad, mine patterns around 7in or so at 10 yards (longest shot in my house). Definitely get the 10rd mags or larger, because when you are double tapping with it, the 5rd mags run out too fast.
Better hurry unless you already have one tucked away....ATF is in the process of making the Saiga 12 un-importable....
