Crap.........USAS12 rebuild

traded for a complete spare usas-12 minus receiver and a front sight (anyone have a extra one?) parts set awhile back. so today I got around to rebuilding my USAS12 with the new parts. This went pretty easy, except the screw in the front sight is stuck, so will have to work on that before remounting it......was all happy with myself, started picking up stuff and putting the old parts together when I look down and there is this little spring!!!!!!! about a 1 or so long little less then a 1/4" in diameter on the floor around were I had been sitting......I have no idea if this was already on the floor or came from the USAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOB.............I am running through the whole shotgun in my head and can not figure out were it would go..........gggggrrrrrrrrrrr..............it cycles (dry fire testing) manually ok.......
anyone have a schematic?
Did discover something though, there is a difference on the original carrier (actually, the upper tube that goes on the recoil/spring rod) versus the other kit. had not heard anything about this before..........

I got a spare front sight, but it's attached to a spare barrel if you're interested... 
Actually, I may have the instruction manual still. Let me see if it's got a schematic.....

that would be great on the manual............I put the spring in a bag and taped it to the side of the safe so I do not loose it. Might be interested in the barrel, send me a PM with info.
