Need help changing Trident 9 mount
I'm enjoying my Trident 9 on a Glock 19 with the LCD mount, but have acquired two other guns with 3-lug barrels. I'd like to change the mount on the Trident, but can't get it to loosen up. Is there a trick to it, like applying heat or water? Anybody know what kind of thread sealant might have been used?
The LCD mount should just unscrew. How many rounds have you fired through it and have you ever taken the mount off the suppressor before? There may just be a ton of buildup underneath.

I've only had it about a month or so. No more than 100-150 rounds so far.
Mine didn't have any kind of sealant.
No problem loosening it with the tool.
Finally got it off. Just needed a little more torque. No sealant found. Thanks.
Thanks. I have a spanner that fits the 3-lug mount. Getting the LCD off was the problem, partly because it has no holes for a spanner.
FWIW, a hair dryer has helped me out a lot with freeing up mounts and booster housings.
Where did you find a 3-lug mount? I have not been able to find one. Silencerco/SWR said they were about to release some about a month ago to distributers, but have not seem any pop up.

I threw up an ad on Strumgewehr NFA board and a dealer who had some contacted me in about a day.

Googled it and found it for sale at ADCO. I could hardly believe it and wouldn't be posting about it on ARFCOM if it hadn't already arrived at my house this week. My C3 dealer has been trying to get one from SWR (Silencerco) for about 3 months.
