I am in the market for a gun safe. I know there are very expensive ones out there, but for now I plan on just buyiong one for $1000 of less. I plan on buying more than just 1 eventually, but for now I'd like one that can atleast hold my 10 or more most expensive guns in it (20-30 gun capacity). I've never bought a safe before, so any brands to look at are appreciated. I'm looking to pick one up in the week if possible. Thank you very much.

Costco often has a few choices in that price range. Not the fanciest but a good value.

I have a Cannon 24 gun and I like it. Fit my pocket book and is rated for what I wanted. It was like $399 on sale at Tractor Supply.

I like my Cannon safe. I have a keypad model. Has the features I wanted, the size I wanted, and the price was a steal, $800 at Tractor Supply.

Cool I think I'll check them out. I see the 24 gun for $500 which is awesome. I prefer to have several small ones instead of just one large one, so I may pick up two of those for now.

Another vote for Cannon. I am very pleased with mine. They go on sale pretty regularly at Tractor Supply - get them on sale for a heckuva deal. (Unless you are looking for something with a ton of fire protection, in that case you will be hardpressed to find a decent one for under 1000)

Plus 1 more for a Cannon from tractor supply. I haven't had mine very long, but it seems like a great value.
