Should I stock pile these magazines and at these prices?
Im planning on stocking up on magazines, just want to see what you guys think about the price and amount.
I have two glock 23's, 1 glock 27 and a walther ppq. And thinking of purchasing a ak47 + ar15 next year.
Currently have 5x g23 mags, 1x g22 mag, 3x g27 mags & 2x ppq mags.
in my cart i have,
11x arsenal bulgarian 30rnd ak47 mags - $32.10ea
11x magpul pmag 30rnd ar15 mags - $14.73ea
7x glock 23 magizines - $23.48ea
3x 22rnd glock .40 mags - $34.40ea
9x glock 22 magizines - $23.48ea
3x glock 27 magizines - $23.48ea
4x walther ppq magizines - $45.45ea
total=$1,246.25
Id only buy the pistol mags. Personally would want about 10 mags for each pistol
Can't say I've ever worn out a mag before.
Even my old 30 round AUG mags that have had only goodness knows how many rounds through them.
'nuff said.
Those Bulgarian Circle 10 mags have sure gotten expensive. They were $17 a piece when I was stocking up on them and even then that was considered expensive.
i think im just going to pass on the ak then, hate knowing i would spend so much on something that was once so much cheaper.
plus all the ak's i want are 1,200-2,000 which is the price of a decent ar15.
My must buy AK mag price is $10. Steel europe/china any mfg
Really- surf the web. Snag them 2-3 at a time.
I've got 50 AR mags -2 ARs
37 AK mags- 3 AKs
19 glock 9mm mags. (17/19/26)
12 glock .45acp
I grab them cheap when I see them:
$5-7 AR
$10-15 AK
$10-20 pistol
Once you have Three just hunt and peck. Target bargains.

Wow, $32 for an AK mag. I'd stick to the surplus steel mags at a third of the cost.
AIM Surplus has AK mags for $10 and various Glock mags for $20. They're PMAGs are about the same price as you have listed.
I've been doing something similar - buying mags for guns that I don't have as many mags for as I'd like. I'm at a pretty good level at this point. I know panic buying is going to set in as we get close to November. I don't think we'll see anything passed that affects magazine capacity, but in '94 nobody expected it either. As someone who remembers the ban days and how awful it was I'm hedging my bets.
