I want a VEPR Hunter in 7.62x54R. Since I can't have a SVT-40 and I'm not thrilled about my PSL, this will do nicely. Anybody have one yet?

Why can't you have an SVT-40? There's plenty on the secondary market.

For that kind of $, go for a PTR 91 in .308. At least mags can be had for 5$ each.

def nice rifle if the ptr was chambered in 54r id prob buy another but its not so this rifle fits his reason.
