I stripped the Black paint off my Boyd's Tacticool stock and stained it. Now the polished receiver and SS barrel look "off." I was thinking of blasting the receiver and painting it. Color options are Gunkote Gloss Black or Parkerized Grey and Matte Black Alumahyde II. I am also inclined to do the barrel and scope as well.

Before

So as far as asthetics:

1. Leave the polished receiver as is.
2. Strip and paint the receiver:
a) Gloss Black
b) Park'd Grey
c) Matte Black
3. Strip and paint the receiver, barrel, scope, rings and rail.

I think it looks sweet as it is. A gloss black reciever and barrel wouldn't be bad either

I have to agree. Love how the stock turned out!
