I just finished doing the upper, lower, and buffer tube. I haven't done the hand guard because I don't know if that's the one I want. I was hesitant, but the process was quite straight forward. Prep is everything. The stink wasn't too bad and I lucked out on the baking because my spousal unit was out of the house for a few hours, so I could leave the doors and windows open. She'll never know.

I also plan to do some sort of camo pattern soon.

I've gotten that comment from several people. I've looked at the ARMS site and their pictures have the internal sight parts installed opposite to mine making the mount look backwards. I don't know if I can reverse the sight parts or not. All of my other iron sights have the cupped side of the small ring facing the shooter. This one would have the flat side facing the shooter if I mount it the other way round.
I did some more checking and contacted ARMS about the rear sight. You're correct –– it was backwards. Thanks for pointing it out.
