I think Krylon Fusion would be easy and is very durable on plastic.

Warm that plastic up with a hair dryer.
Not hot, just warm so that paint soaks in real good and let it set to cure
The longer you let it set the better the paint cures
I painted a stock, pistol grip, and a few rail covers with Krylon Fusion. I washed everything with dawn dish liquid to remove any oil, and prepped everything with a green scotch-brite pad. I cleaned everything until water wouldn't bead, and then scuffed until every thing had a uniform grey color. I made a makeshift rack out of wire, and let everything sit in the sun for a couple hours. After I sprayed everything, I let it cure for a week before putting it back on the rifle. I can't say how durable it is, as I don't tend to abuse this rifle, but it seems to be pretty good.
