 An idea for using a helmet mounted NOD and RDS

This worked for me hunting coyotes. I didn't have a laser yet. I only had my PVS-7B and an Aimpoint scope on my M4 carbine. What I did:

Collapse my stock completely
Use a monopod standing standing up
Stand behind the rifle and take the shot looking through my Aimpoint M3 scope.
I would use the goggles as far from my eyes as possible to increase my situational awaremess.

It is a little wobbly. But, it worked. The monopod supports the gun and the collapsed stock allows you to get behind the gun to use the red dot sight. I think it would work just as well with a PVS14 mounted on your dominant side.

There you go. Not perfect. But, it works.
