Anybody know anything about these units, are they any good? Specifically, the Yukon Viking 2x24mm Night Vision Binoculars w/ IR Illuminator.
Im going to guess like all yukon gear, they are generation 1? Look up and see the tacked thread that compares gen 1 to 2 and 3. Commercial gen 1 really isnt worth the money.
That's correct, they are Gen1.
Gen1 has it's uses... But I wouldn't spend any serious money on one. Ebay's a good place to find used Gen1. That way if you lose your money, you don't lose much.

This. No need to spend any more. I used to argue with people not to buy it but now I just tell them to go to eBay and find a used one. Everybody, including myself had to learn the hard way.
