Helmet help
Ok I have avoided head mounted NV ever since wearing the standard skull crusher system when I bought my first PVS-14 many years ago. I have started thinking about trying a helmet system but am not looking to spend tons of money as I may hate it and set it aside in storage. I have been looking at the Ops-Core FAST Base Jump Shell but it needs a mount? What is a good mount thats works with this helmet plus doesn't cost a arm and leg I am just walking around the farm with no buddy shooting at me. Thanks!
USGI Rhino Mount. Check ebay. I bought some for $50.00
Does that Rhino mount just screw in the built in NV base on the ops core helmet nothing else need as far as parts?

Nothing else needed but a J-Arm of course, but you know that.
After using the Rhino I am not a fan as I cannot get to where it needs to be to fit me.
I have to adjust my head to get a clear picture through the NV tube, not comfortable or easy.
I like you was not wanting/willing to spend $400 plus on better options.
Ok Thanks for the info! I am more concerned with just trying the helmet and see if I can get use to the weight of the system if that works well enough I could invest more into a better mounting system later on. I have/had a bad disk in my neck that the old skull crusher seemed to bother time to time so ditched that system aside years ago neck is much better now figured I may try again.
