nfa tracker

so for giggles I looked on NFA tracker
I found a SBR which is what i am doing the length i am doing.. It was sent the day I sent, Recived when they said they recived it and the check was cashed on the same day

buy it shows the state as FL and i am in TX.. anyway they could have got that wrong.. I know it was put TX on my end

??? or am i looking at things wrong

I think you're confused as to how NFA Tracker works.

It is updated by the end users. It does not list all applications and dates for every item that the NFA Branch receives.

Your application would only be listed on NFA Tracker if YOU listed it.

never heard of the web stie till just the other day
i was thinking it was strange that they would go to all
That trouble to enter all that info

So the only way to find out if its pending is to call
Which i refuse to waste thier time in doing...

Ok... i will just continue the process as i have done before
Mark my calander for 8 months away and get excited if it comes
before that day

Calling to check if you're pending is perfectly fine. It doesn't slow the process down - the examiners aren't the ones answering the phones. I always call about a month after sending my paperwork in just to make sure they got it and that it's pending.

For reference, I sent something in on 2/6 and it went pending 3/2, so yours might not even be pending yet.
