Changing a pending Form 1 SBR
If this has been asked before please forgive me. My form 1 is pending as of October 7th 2011. I came across a long gun someone wants to trade, but doesn't want my gun as an SBR. Can it be cancelled? Also, can it be changed to another gun, or do I start the whole process over for another SBR?

It can be cancelled even after approval up until it is actually build. You'll get you $200 back too. Just write them a letter.
Unfortunately, you'll have to start over from scratch with another gun.
