Will I be flagged or will my forms take longer to approve?

I am 20 years on and and turning 21 very soon. I planned ahead and have already taken my CCW class and ordered a form 4 SBR and a form 4 suppressor both of which are being babysitted by my Class III dealer. The plan is to file for my concealed carry permit, the SBR, and the suppressor the day of my 21st birthday. Will I be flagged by the ATF for submitting all of these forms so quickly exactly on my 21st birthday? Will this mean that I will have to wait longer than usual?

Thanks

You should be fine.

Even if not what can you do about it? Wait 6 months before you file them, your only going to delay yourself if you wait?

You can go ahead and apply now. No need to wait till your 21st birthday. You only have to be 18 to own NFA item, so the ATF will approve you. You just can't pick them up from the dealer until you are 21 because of the 4473.

This. I'd get the paperwork going in the pipe.

Cwp goes to your state law enforcement division, nfa goes to the atf nfa branch

You didn't say what state you were in, but I sent my CCW application in 3 days before my 21st Bday.

It got approved in eleven days. I hear they hook you up if you're military, but thats just hearsay.

The ATF doesn't give two shits about how many/age/when you turned 21/lots of stuff. The ATF wants your money. The FBI however deals with the fingerprint cards and background checks- and they don't give a damn about that either. When the NFA examiner gets your form, they make sure all needed boxes are filled out, and most likely don't even read to see every detail, I mean, forms do get approved with errors on them. Google it.

I submitted 2 Form 1's before I was 21. No Issue.

They deal with more forms than any sane person should have to, and they really don't care about how many forms you submit.
