Anybody do this ever? Small charges, etc. Just wondering since it is a blackpowder substitute for cartridge guns, and runs at very low pressure with lighter loads. Does a ML and a BP cartridge gun run to a different pressure?

Looks like it is the same as AA5744 which makes it a NO GO for a muzzleloader!!

Looking for Goex, but haven't been able to find it locally. Figured if it wasn't real blackpowder, I might as well use the fluffy smokeless made for BP cartridge arms...

Where are you located?

http://www.goexpowder.com/distributors.html This link is a list of Goex distributors. Call the closest distributor, and ask for your closest retailer. Missouri, for example, is served by a distributor in Mexico, MO, but there is a retailer in St. Charles, about 30 minutes from my house. You can also buy online from Powder, Inc.

I use 5744 in my Savage in-line, but there's no way in the world I'd use it in any other muzzleloader. They're just not designed for the pressure.

If you want to shoot smokeless in an inline, you buy a Savage. Period. End of story.
