I posted this in GD-

I broke out my I. Hollis and Son's 12 Double barrel shot gun, here is some pics-












When I was a kid, we used to shoot trap with this and the other one that my Dad still has.

It was a ball, loading and shooting these.

Now, it sits in the safe. I don't shoot it anymore.

Well, I thought you guys would want to see it.

Thanks, Part of the reason is that I do not have any supplies and the other is it's been so long, I would like to have it checked out, before I shoot it again.

What`s there to check out? I just shot about 20 loads out of my 1837 69cal Harpers Ferry 3 months ago. Last time I shot it was in 1961. It shot the same now as it did then, same charge of real BP & ball.

Very nice. Do you know any history on that gun? A friend of mine has one very similar to yours and we can't seem to find anything online. Has a marking on the top rib that reads XXXX(don't remember this part) & Goodrich. Other than the gold inlay on yours it looks identical.
