Whats caliber/gauge is it?

I don't recognize the name but it looks English. Probably made in the 1850's.

Has a rifled bore and checkering, also a safety. My guess is that it's a mid-1800's dueler...as in used to be part of a cased two gun set.

Probably a high quality piece.

Yep...it's a dueler. I just did a google on 'John Lord Dueling pistols'

There's pics of very similiar pistols and some info to be gained. Do a google
