Got this last week from wiedeners, wish i had got another as they are now sold out. It came with a sling, boyonet, and cleaning kit. This is my first Swiss rifle and im planning on getting another. Rifle is flawless except for the stock and all the numbers match. Shot it today and was blown away by its accuracy, makes my other surplus guns look like shotgun groups. Didnt have a tag under the butt plate but all in all i feel like i got a great deal. Whats the story on these clamp on scope mounts i keep reading about? GTG? Ten shot group at 100 yards from a led slead. I think i can shrink this group alot, it was a little cold and windy out today. Ammo was swiss gp11..

Swiss Products clamp on mount. It is solid. When you install it you well think it's going to move around, but I've had mine for a few years now and zero problems.

Swiss products makes a great aluminum mount like others have said.

Take a look at Warne rings if you do go w/ scoped setup, they are solid and the finish is very nice. I bought the low mount rings and there is just enough space between the rear sight and scope body so there is no contact. Last sight in session I had my K31 scoped setup pulling 1in @ 100yards on a 6 shot group.

Good point. The SP mount uses rimfire style rings, the 3/8 clamp on rail. When I looked Warne made the best ones I could find.

Here

The steel plate the receiver rests on in the stock can be different thickness. This thickness controls barrel preload.

Definitely GTG.

100 yds w/ GP11. 4-in-1 hole shows the rifles capability. The two flyers show my capability. Still only about a 1 1/2 inch group.

I wish Wideners didn't sell out of these before I got my C&R. Nobody else includes all the goodies they do.

I am still waiting on my C&R to arrive and hoping to find someone selling K31s.
Classic Arms is sold out as well.
