I got one from Wideners a while back. Pretty good shape, numbers matching, walnut stock. Shoots like a dream.

Probably Simpson's Ltd. Or, you can do what the the real Swiss pro's do, buy the Swiss barrel gauges and then send them to the seller to get the throat and barrel dimensions, and buy the best stock/ barrel combo you can find. While all of the K31's are usually good, some of them are better. Some of the walnuts, which are typically the earlier rifles, have been rearsenaled with new barrels.

I would not waste my time with any dealer other than Simpsons when it comes to Swiss rifles. How many dealers do you know will go and get the rifle and answer any questions you have regarding it.

Allan's K31 stock went really fast.

I inquired if they would receive more and they will but not as good quality as they last batch sold.

Wow. No kidding!

Well, he's got a pretty good rep and when he gets something good in, at a good price, it usually doesn't last long.
