Scope for 10/22 shooting at 25 meters

I'm a relatively new shooter and know next to nothing about scopes. I'd like to put a scope on a 10/22 that I'll use for plinking. Most of the time, I'll be shooting at a 25 meter range, but occassionally will have the opportunity to shoot out to 100 meters.

The scope I'm looking at is the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 6725 that currently has a rebate available (http://www.nikonpromo.com/rimfire.php).

My question is would this scope be suitable for shooting at 25 meters? Will I be able to focus at that distance?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

rimfire scopes usually are adjusted to be parallax free at 60 -75 yards, from the factory unlike rifle scopes.

I have that scope on my 10/22. Love it.

Cool, I ordered it. To those who have it, do you have mounting recommendations? I plan on getting a Boyd's Tacticool stock.

ETA: I've ordered a DNZ 1" medium height mount now.
