i have a tactical solutions aluminum (steel sleeve) barrel that is SUPER light...dont know the exact weight however.

I just mounted my Tac_Sol matte black 16.5" in a hogue overmold and new reciever. The whole gun now weighs less than the original stock barrel and stock sitting in the box in the corner. That was all I was going for. Plus it just looks cooler than sh!t. Ask ARin to post his pic got the idea from him.

WITHOUT mag, suppressor and bipod, it comes in RIGHT at 4 lbs 5 oz.

I have a Magnum Research MagnumLite barrel. Weighs in at about 13 oz...

I have the old model with a compensator and "MagnumLite" laser etched on the side. The new ones lack these touches, but perform the same...

They are also marketing a pistol version soon which has a 9" barrel I think. I played with it at the SHOT show. Very light indeed.
