Do rifle plates "expire" like soft armor is supposed to do? I am looking at different sets of plates and they all have dates on them are these manufactured dates or expiration dates?

Thanks

I am going to say they are manufacture dates. Most hard plates will not expire if i i recall correctly. However if they are made of ceramic they will need x-rayed periodically to check for cracks. I am sure someone with much mor knowledge than myself will be along to correct anything wrong i may have said as well as add any other information needed.

Yes, but the conditions they where stored in / used in are more important factors to determine their pratical life span than actual preoduction dates.
Everything has a experation date.

The dates shown are the manufaturing dates. The experation date is subjective based on how used or abused.
