Woodland Plate Carrier

I've been looking for a plate carrier in woodland camo. The only one I've found so far is from Beez Combat Systems. Any other suggestions?

Best bet is to go custom or if you get a large group of people that want the same thing in woodland you can go to a manufacturer such as Eagle (you'd have to contact them to see the minimum pieces you have to order).

You might have a problem trying to find something like that. When woodland was a standard issue pattern, the latest and greatest vest of the day was the Interceptor. By the time plate carriers had become popular, woodland was largely replaced by Marpat, ACU and Coyote being the big colors of choice and there wasn't much of a market for plate carriers in an old pattern so the selection is going to be pretty slim at best.

I love the look of Ranger Green with BDU's. Close enough to match the color scheme and will work pretty well with Multicam too.

I like this idea. What I was thinking may be easier and cheaper. Buying a Ranger green plate carrier of your choice, then finding woodland fabric and sending it to a place of your choice and having some custom pouches made. Might even be able to get a group buy on something like pouches.

Any reason you are wondering if that is the only one out there? Is there something you don't like about it? I've never had any dealings with this brand but to be honest, it looks like outside of a custom maker, that's pretty much it as far as plate carriers go.

Also, OP, rockywoods.com sells woodland Cordura and ripstop. Call around to some gear manufacturers and see who's will to make you gear using your fabric.

I just wanted to know if there was anyone else so I could see what else was out there. I like the one from BCS, but didn't want to order it without making sure I didn't need to check out some others. I don't really want to go with a custom job, so it looks like BCS is the one.

They don't do armor carriers, but you might be interested in their LBV's or other gear. Check em out.

See if you can't dig up an ISAPO vest. Good luck, I've been looking for one for a few months now, and so far no joy. I did find one in desert, but still looking for a woodland pattern one.

Tamiami Armor has them in stock, but they're also smoking crack for what they want for them.

My plate carrier is an old hsgi in woodland you could call Gene and ask if he would make you one.

I don't have a picture. it's a weesatch or woosatch in woodland camo I bought around 2005. I'm not sure Gene would even still make one or have the cloth, but you could ask.

He might make one if you supply the cloth.

I ended up buying the BCS carrier. Now I just get to wait for it to show up. The site said there was a 9-20 day wait.

I received it today. I'm happy with it so far. Everything looks good and seems well made. My plates fit great. Not much more to say right now, since I just got it.

Looks pretty good. I might have to pick one up so I have a PC in WC with a CB.
