Has anyone had or tried both? I am in the market for a new plate carrier and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two. The features are very similar as is the pricing.
The main difference I have found is the LMAC is a little more low profile and the Pig is supposedly more comfortable. If I went with the LMAC I had planned on running
the 10 speed cumberbund. which elimanates the floppy side plate carriers( I'm not planning on running side plates). the 10 speed also adds low profile pockets for 4 extra mags.
I have not heard anything negative about the Pig other than it is a little bulkier. They are priced within my budget and with the 10 speed cumberbund on the LMAC there is only about a $40 difference.
Does anyone have any input or possibly a secret savings code.
Having a PIG and liking it I must say that I want to get a LMAC. I think the shoulder straps on the PIG are just a bit too wide and bulky. I think I'll eventually get the LMAC to try out and end up selling wich one I like the least.

I only ask because a possible advantage is that the LMAC is available in different sizes. The PIG will accomodate medium and large plates.
If you use med or large, you can't go wrong with either carrier. I'd probably go with the LMAC because I like low-pro and I don't want extra material that doesn't add any more protection.
The PIG PC will actually take small through XL plates. As for which one is a better option that's up to the user and how much gear they carry. I'll stay out of that debate.
