 1stline/battle belt set up?

I think I'm going to go to a simple chestrig/battle belt setup. I'm looking for some ideas. I'm thinking a dump pounch, med pouch, pistol mags, pistol, (maybe flashlight and mulittool), and maybe rifle mags on my belt, then rafle mags on my chest.

What are you guys running?

For me 1st line is pistol, second line is rifle.
1st is for immediate deployment while 2nd is for sustained fight.

you can see my setup here:
http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=10&t=259861

First line is an ATS warbelt, HSGI 1911/M9 holster, TT triple mag pouches, Maxpedition roly-poly, knife, HSGI bleeder pouch, on a dropleg extender is Hawke medpouch.

Second line is a BHI chest rig, 2 triple shingles, maxpedition Monkey admin pouch and gp pouch, and MBITR pouch.

Depends on what you're using it for. My gear is all for mil use. I also use the 1s line for hiking.

Have you thought about a bandoleer? I've always wanted to get a bandoleer, but I have no need for it. Check out either the TAD gear or the Spec-Ops with a padded belt like the war-belt or spec-ops padded belt.

1st line

Basic duty belt with kydex holster and mag pouch, belt keepers and a knife on the dropleg attached to the pants belt.
You will find that if you put to much stuff on the belt you will end up uncomfortable.

2nd line

MOLLE chest rig with 5 mags, 2 pistol mags signal equipment and BOK

In use

What are you going to be using your setup for?

The only time my nylon comes out is for classes (although it's nice to have around just in case, I guess). Having said that, the following setup deconflicts pretty well for me in most shooting positions and does not interfere with the draw stroke on my secondary (M&P 9):

CTOMS X-Belt PS with 4 rifle mag pouches, 3 pistol mag pouches, Safariland 6004 with drop panel modded for single strap hi-ride, dump pouch, small med pouch, small GP pouch. Plate carrier is an Eagle SFLCS with IIIa backers and III plates, only used for shoot houses as required.

Having trouble with Photobucket so no pics.
My first line is as follows

Spec Ops Brand Belt - Super stiff
Spector Gear, Tac Ops Belt Pad - Makes wearing this set up comportable for many hrs at a time
Safariland 6004 holster
custom made pouch attached to holster shroud for CAT Tourniquet
Maxpedition Rolly Polly dump pouch
Maxpedition M4 (holds small signal panel, IR strobe, extra set of batteries (CR123 &AA) Gerber Multitool, small bottle Slip 2000, Pen Flare and a couple of other small items.
North American Rescue Products IFAK, Maritime Assult Kit
Finally I use the Diamondback Tactical low profile combat Suspenders. These fit comfortably under my low profile armor carrier or my Eagle Carrier.

I also attach a bungee to my belt as a weapons catch. I like this better than the purpose designed catches and it does not take up any extra space.

I have a double pistol mag pouch and a single "quick access" rifle mag pouch (both DBT) that can fit on my belt kit but I do not keep them on there or routinely run them. I prefer to keep mag pouches on my second line. My 1st line has enough shit on it. I'm almost always wearing some kind of chest rig or vest if I am running this type of belt anyway. IMHO mags and ammo, except for a couple of pistol mags is too much weight to keep on first line gear. Everyone has there preferences this is mine, I've reconfigured it a few times and keep coming back to this.

it's going to be setup for three gun mostly, with some possibility of camping/hiking use, and general arm chair commando-ing. I originally thought it would be nice to have everything stay put when you take the belt off and put it back on.

ray, you can try imageshack.us if photobucket's giving you shit.

as for 1st line gear, i have a desert storm era y-harness, but i dont wear it. im currently wearing a blackwater rappelling belt in conjunction with my sob holster, i could attach some pouches to that if I felt the desire.. maybe a pistol mag pouch would be handy, but that's about it personally. ymmv

HSGI... 10% off right now at SKD Tactical. They're not lined with Dri-Lex, but they are comfortable and don't slip.

It's a very effective suppressor mount.

Here's a slightly different config with the can attached. Better?
