Anyone have a pic (of your gear) of side by side comparison of RG gear and OD gear.

Thanks

there are many shades of OD, and shades of RG

but the consensus is that OD falls more in the Green while RG is more in the muddy green-grey realm

send me your address and I'll send you a swatch of RG with your OD MS

perfect example my rig. My PC is OD and DBT discontinued their bicep protectors in OD so i had to go with their RG version. You can see the difference and i honestly like the RG color better i think.

Looks like some nice kit, but what's up with the extra soft armor underneath the tac-vest?

I will have to say that "Ranger Green" goes better with the ACU's than OD.

Nice action pic and the Ranger Green goes really well with ACU.

More than likely his rig only accepts rifle plates and they probably achieve level IV with the need of soft level III armor. There aren't a whole bunch of rigs out there that will accept soft and hard armor.

That makes sense. I've only ever used RBA, Interceptor, and Eagle MARCIRAS . . . all of which contain both soft and hard.

Here's an Eagle Industries FSBE II Patrol Pack in Ranger Green with OD webbing. It just happens to be for sale .

he is wearing Eagle Plate carrier. While the EPC is capable of carrying specially cut softarmor
most whom I have encountered wear similar configurations for 1) increased range of motion 2) Spall protection from Hard armor hits. Do note the small hard plate in the cummerbund. 3) Some level of protection incase his carrier needed to be ditched

just a few thoughts. Oh, and yes RG is a better field color choice than OD imo.
