Anyone know if the camo pattern rusts like the matte black? I really want one but the rust issue is pathetic.
I am sure that if you treat it poorly enough you can get it to rust but why would you want to?

Google : Remington 870 express tactical rust. The issue is well known. To whomever suggested I want it to rust........ Why would I want that? I think you misread my question.
In all seriousness the coating on 870 expresses is not impressive. It does make a great foundation for duracoat.

Yea I really want one because of the choke availability but I'm wondering how much it would be to get the gun coated so it won't rust

Check with
Color and Camo Graphics, they have coated (actually its a dipping process) for me and they all looked very good.
Duracoat, Ceracoat, et al. etc are also options to cover the metal and prevent rusting.
