I have a FN Browning 1922

For some reason I am having a heck of a time trying to reassemble it after I did the take down.

I follow the steps from this video, but I can't get my slide to go back to the second notch.

This is the video I have been using to help me reassemble it

Picture of the beast.

Any ideas?

I can't get it to do step 12. The slide will not go all the way back.

In the video he mentions that the magazine safety interferes with the ability to pull the slide back to the second notch. Have you tried it with the the magazine in the pistol?

I disconnected the mag safety on my 1910 for this reason. it makes working on it a lot easier.

LMAO.

I bought a Browning 10/71 and had to watch the video a dozen times before I got it put back together.

It's frustrating.

I hope you get it figured out. That's a real neat pistol.

I was just noticing that the locking lugs are on the bottom of the barrel/frame. Pretty cool.

I really enjoy learning about and comparing all of JMB's creations. They're all such ingenious mechanical devices.

Yup! Good Choice! I want one too.

Hey, at least it is easier to put together than a Ruger Mk III
