Hello All,
I found a private person who is selling a dark earth FN45 Tac for $875.00
For that I get the gun, 3 mags, 3 interchangeable back grip plates, a lock, 2 little boxes that contains items for sight mounting and a nice FN zipper case that holds it all. I checked the bore it is very clean. The breach is very clean too. The barrel threads on the end are pristine. The only thing I can find wrong is the raised sights show a little wear, I am being very picky here to I had to try to find something wrong. Trigger,Safety and decock works great. Is there anything else I need to check? I wont be able to test fire the weapon until the deal is completed. So is that a good deal? I can only compare this prices to new units which seem to go around the high nine hundreds to low thousands. Current owner says unit has less than 500 rounds through it. Thanks for your thoughts.

Yes. That is about what I've seen used FNP-45 Tacs go for. Get the beast.

I am going to go for it tomorrow. It seems to be a good deal. I had one member message me offering to sell me his for $950. So I think I am on to a good deal. Thank to those who shared!

Seems to be a good deal if in good shape. Did a quick search history on the web and they seem to be selling used in new condition from 750-925.00 for the 10 that I found.

Buy it. The wear on the sights can be touched up with some gun blue, and it's cheaper than a new one, plus already broken in.

I got it!
All I can say is wowie wow!
Tac must be short for tac driver.
It is EXTREMELY accurate!
Shot like a dream.
To this point I have owned all glocks and 1911s.
This pistol is superior!

Glad you managed to snag it. After owning Sigs, Glocks, 1911, S&W, Rugers and EAAs I'd put this pistol up against any of them. I too am very pleased with it. Enjoy your new toy.

I know I am late to the party, but the shop I usually buy from had a NIB .45 tactical for $900 a few months ago.

oootay.
Did find one issue with the gun. Last night i tried to take off the optic mounting plate. First screw came out no issues the other one would not move. Infact it detroyed the provided allen key when i tried to make it move. But the screw did not strip *phew*

Looks great!

The wrench stripped on mine, too, so I wound up using a Torx driver to remove the screws.

The loc-tite on the screws is pretty aggessive if you heat up the screws with a hair dryer it will make your life easier.

It is the most accuret shooter I got. Now I am shopping for 1k 45 ammo. Local dealer has 1k pmc bronze for $355. Seems to be same price on web. I also come to find I am missing one of the sight mounting screws. I opened the clear box and found 2 short and just one long screw.

Here was my first range trip. This is my second target I used. I shot 2 full 15 round mags at this. All but 7-8 found the bulls eye.

That's awesome. Now the $100,000 question. How far from the target were you? I'll be picking mine up on Monday.

FDE if your curious.
