First, I'd like to thank and commend you, "Armalite", for participating directly on this forum. Very few manufacturers weigh in directly on the discussions about their products. Your input and feedback are very valuable, especially since you don't appear to have much of a dealer network. If the customers can't touch and feel the product, that forces them to buy on faith, and a forum like this one increases that faith tremendously.
That said, I'd like this to be a thread to discuss the upcoming AR-26 (I think that's the model # for the .45 ACP version ???). As I understand it, the design is underway, and production is scheduled to commence this Fall. Is that correct? Is there any ETA for availability in the USA? What are the dimensions, magazine capacity and weight? Will there be a compact version? What are the available trigger configurations (DA/SA, SAO, DAO, etc)? I think there's a lot of interest for this pistol, and you're the only authoritative source of information. We can't trust the gun rags because they review and accept advertisements for vaporware (witness the Taurus OSS).
