Additional 400 rounds
I just put another 400 rounds of Winchester Value Pak through my AR24. Accuracy is good, and the trigger is becoming very smooth. The only problem I had is what I think is a recoil spring made for NATO (+P), and not the lighter stuff. I had several failer to return to battery. This happened into the 3rd box of ammo. The gun got a little gummy and this seemed to retarrd the cycle. The slide would not quite return on occasion. I would rather the spring sent with the gun be set for the heavier loads than the light ones. I can always get a lighter spring.
So far, I am still very happy with the AR24...wish I had gotten the adj. sight model.
The ergonomics on this gun are fantastic.

You're correct... the spring is made for NATO ammo and for standard 9mm.
Some of the lighter loads get challenged.
But we suspect that normal fouling is the culprit. How many rounds do you have on the pistol since cleaning and relubing. We want to have a good idea of when the guns become fouled so we can give a good recommendation of cleaning intervals.
My first range time included 318 rounds. The AR24 was cleaned after that period. I experienced problems on the second trip to the range after 200 rounds. The total for the 2nd range was 400 rounds. My total count for the AR24 is 718. I'll get back to the range this weekend.
