MKIII Hunter with Volquarten trigger, sear, Clark bushing, mag disconnect gone, LCI disabled, Hogue grip, and threaded for suppressor. ADCO did the recrown, barrel threading, thread protector, and moving of the front sight. They did an awesome job!

Before barrel work and Hogue:

Notice thread protector and front sight moved back:

what groups are you getting and with what ammo with and without the supressor on it? Love the gun

I have yet to shoot groups with it since barrel work was done, just backyard function test. My CZ 452 seems to shoot a tad better with the suppressor on it. I'll report back after some group shooting.

This is after trigger work and before barrel work (no recrown or suppressor). Wolf Match Target at 7 yards:

What do you mean by "better"? Jus curious. My MkII with Outpack and Tac-Sol upper/barrel will shot a nats nuts off at 15yards all day long with some winchester dynapoint

I never do any real measuring of groups, but I have had my CZ452 for many years and have spent lots of time shooting the same ammo thru it at the same distance (50 yards). I have done lots of things to it (bedded, took out barrel lug, added second action screw, Brooks trigger mod, etc), and the biggest improvement in accuracy seems to have come from the barrel being recrowned. The second best improvement is adding the suppressor. I'd call the suppressor improvement about 1/4 of the improvement seen by the recrown.

If you don't mind me asking, what did the barrel "job" run you from ADCO ? And how long was the turn around ?

Thank you

When they moved the front sight back does it stick out over the flutes?

The MK III I saw at a show that was rethreaded for a can did cover the tip of the top flute, but not by too much. This one should be similar, but honestly, it looked like someone could shorten the tail of the front sight and possibly clear the flute.

+1. I'm thinking of getting one of the new stainless 22/45RPs and having ADCO do the threading. Do you have any pics of the top of the barrel/sight?

Guys here is a picture the OP sent me after I asked about the front sight. I don't think he would mind me posting this here.

Exactly what I was looking for. I think this has convinced me to have my Hunter threaded..

I was convinced too until I realize with the longer barrel I'd have to shoot subsonics to keep it quiet. Due to this I'm going to leave my hunter alone and build up a shorter tac sol Ruger.

Wow! Just happened to stop by and see my old thread is alive again.

ADCO is my local dealer and the work was done in just a few days. I don't recall the price, but I know I'd do it again.

I need to work on a 9mm then a 5.56 suppressor first.

Glad you got the pics.
I stock up mostly on Wolf Match Target (subsonic), so that is what I shoot most. I have shot Federal value pack that did go supersonic on a 30 deg F day.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing to a 22/45 with a 5.5" barrel. I wonder if the slightly less barrel woul d keep them subsonic?
