Grip Question
My 1911 came with full-thickness grips on the gun. When I had it overhauled, I had them put in the slim bushings, screws, and slim VZ grips.
Is it possible to still run the full thickness grips with the slim bushings? I would assume I would have to use the regular screws (not the slim screws). Anybody done this before?

Never tried it, But I can't see why it would not work. You would just have less bushing sticking into the grips.
Stick an o-ring on the screw when you want to run a "normal" thickness grip.
