Anyone know where I can get one? I have a Mak with a "5" rear sight and it hits far above POA at 25 yards.
I just picked up another one with a noticably shorter rear sight with a "2" on it, so I'm guessing the numbers correspond to different heights. Anyone know where I can get a rear sight?
You are correct, the numbers refer to the height of the rear sight, to adjust for elevation. I do not know of anywhere to get numbered rear sights as of now. I had the same problem with a new Bulgy Mak, and I fixed it by taking the sight off and grinding/filing it down to the correct height, knowing I could replace it with a standard rear sight from
Northridge if I messed it up.
