Mak shoot on Saturday

First trip out of the safe. 50 rds w-w, perfect as usual for these little critters. Fourth tgt looked like this:

Yes, my best results here, but none more than 2 3/8" O/H at 50' (once I settled down). I think it could do even better, but the sights just aren't up to much more.
Amazes me when I see "gun tests" of $500+ modern pistols that shoot into 2.5-3" at 50' and the author says "good enough" when a half-century old $150 Commie pistol will do better...

Never tried WWB with my '61 EG mak. Just about every ammo under the sun has gone through(with ZERO trouble) my mak though!
I have a few other pistols considerably higher in cost. The truth is, I shoot my mak best, and I'd trust my life with it above the others.
