Hello to all, I have always wanted a luger just because of the old Movies I guess.
I have a walther p-1 that I brought to make do until I could save up for a luger I
have $800 so far do you think I can find a decent one for that price, I know nothing
about them really. One guy at a gunshow said to try to find one with matching numbers?
I don't even know how good they shoot. Help me out if you can guys. Thanks, smoking

AIM had some last week - not sure if they still have them.

$800 will buy you a decent shooter, or a low grade matching gun. It is going to depend on what you plan to do with it? If you want a shooter buy the best condition you can, but no bubba buff n blues! Unless you reload stay away from the .30 Luger caliber as it is expensive to buy new. If you happen to get a semi collectible all matching gun , be aware that if you break one matching part the guns value will drop to the shooter range.

I picked up a shooter at a gun show (right place right time) a few months back for $700. It is possible to get a "deal". Two tables down the same gun was selling for $1250.

Based on the general prices I saw in January, I won't be going to any shows until the democraps aren't in power anymore.
