Older PO's
I am looking at an older P13 (1994) for purchase.
Owners of this vintage of Para Ordnance, where do you go for the propietary parts?
I son't see a lot offered at PO's web site and they sent me to Brownell's and Dawson's.
I have an older P13.45. The proprietary parts are the grips, the grip screws, the trigger, the mag release, and of course the mags. Tirggers can be had from Dlask and GunCraft. Both can be purchased through Brownells. Mag releases were made by GunCraft and Ed Brown, though I think Ed Brown dropped mag releases. Grip screws are made by Smith and Alexander. Of course, many factory parts are still available from Brownells.
One other thing that is kind of proprietary is the mainspring housing. It's the same length as an Officer's ACP, but it's a little thicker front to back. Install an Officer's ACP MSH and you might find it sitting a bit low. I have an S&A MSH on my stainless P13.45 at the moment. I'm switching to an Officer's ACP MSH, and I have already found through trial fit that I will have to cut down the back of the grip frame to blend it in with the MSH, and then re-finish the frame.
....
I have a P-13 of the same age. The only thing I've replaced so far is the firing pin and I bought that from brownells.
