P16-40 barrels
I have a P16-40 40 S&W hi cap. I use it for informal IDPA shooting, a friend has a Bar-Sto barrel for a Colt 1911 drop in fit supposedly. He sold his 1911 and wants to give me the barrel it has exactly 11 rounds thru it, he says it will fit my P16, question is will it fit? I'm not familiar with barrel changes involving the Para.
If the barrel is Para/Clark ramped, and in 40, it may work in the pistol, but may still need some fitting (hood, lugs, feet, and even barrel bushing).
If the barrel is not ramped, is Wilson/Nowlin ramped, or in something else besides 40, it will not work in the pistol without heavy mods to the pistol.
