What Thread, 9mm Barrel

Looking to get a threaded barrel for my handgun in 9mm. What would be the best bet for a suppressor down the road?
From what I am reading, 1/2-28 is a common thread, as is M13.5x1 Metric.
Not sure what suppressor I will be getting, as that is further down the road.

1/2-28 is more common and what I would go with.
