I picked this used BHP MK3 off gunbroker recently. I had been searching for a MK3 in my price range, and finally stumbled on this one. It already had the C&S wide combat trigger, hammer, and sear installed.
I changed out the grips to Navidrex thin dymondwood grips. The gun came with 4 mags, and I have picked up an additional 11 since I got it.

I am very pleased. It has now replaced my G19 as my daily carry piece, hence a lot of the holster wear on the gun

That is a good looking BHP. Can we get some close ups of the stippleing, it looks very nice.

The stippling is actually a strip of adhesive stair treads. I bought a pack of 3 for a couple bucks at the local gunshop. I really like the added texture on the front strap.
The slickness of the FS was my only complaint about the gun, hence adding the tape.

Here's another angle:

Very nice looking Hi-Power. I CCW one also. What do like most about carrying this over the 19?

I like the slimness most. The G19 does have some advantages, but I was shocked when a bigger heavier gun was actually more
comfotable to carry. Plus, the thing is dead accurate, trigger is much better, and I prefer the HPs bar sights over my Gocks 3 dot set up.

Do you remember the 94 AWB?

I like to have at least a dozen mags per pistol. Not to mentiion if you can find cheap
BHP mags, you should buy them.

Do you know if the original owner installed the hammer, sear and trigger himself? How does it shoot? Nice looking gun and functional to boot.

I believe that is the case. The pistol dates to 1990. It has a forged frame, and it is a dream to shoot. Trigger break is like glass.

Great looking pistol. And your picture taking abilities do it justice too.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that actually prefers a HiPower trigger over my G19's. Either we're both crazy, or there is some merit in that observation. Or both. hehehhe
