They aren't out until next year, but I think I will have to make one mine!!!!

Browning 1911/.22
It's about 2/3 sized and it is all metal, unlike some of those damn cheap plastic .22's you see from major named gunmakers.

Cool! I'll def be looking for that one.

Does the slide operate on it? Or is all the movement internal like some other all-metal 1911s out there?

Well, yes, I've never seen a .22 that didn't. I just was able to hold it for a minute. It operates just like a 1911 except for a fixed barrel.

Going by the price and description by Browning, should NOT be zinc or similar pot metal.

Alumunim alloy lower and upper, with steel barrel, IIRC.

The OP should be able to verify this?
