I am looking to possibly get a laser device for my P3AT. These are the only two soloutions on the market. From my research the armalaser is cheaper than the crimson trace, but it's bigger (which doesn't bother me too much). Both get decent reviews, what does the esteemed membership of ARFCOM have to say about it?

I decided to go with an armalaser. The grip on the P32/P3AT is small to begin with, and I didn't like how a crimson trace laser interferes with the grip. I also think the armalaser reduces the "pistol like" profile. YMMV

This is a "do you like ford or chevy" type question. If you can, ask around to see if you can handle one with both lasers so you can make your own comparison.

I have the Crimson Trace and love it. I have them on several of my guns. It fits on the triggerguard and extends to the front of the grip where the pressure switch is. It does not change the grip and is well worth the money. I believe Crimson Trace also offers free batteries for life on their grips. I have five sets and they all came with batteries for life. griffy
