SD Ammo for PF-9?
I have 147gr Golden Sabers for my bigger 9mms and have heard that PF-9's have problems with that round. Which SD ammo should I get for it that people have had a lot of success with? Do I need to go with 124gr +p?
I have not fired a +p round from mine, but 124 Gr. Gold Dot works perfect in my PF-9
I use Hornady Critical Defense, 115gr FTX with out problems, besides the more pointed bullet to ease of loading they mushroom very uniformly.

+1 for Hornady Critical Defense
Speer gold dot is also a good choice.

Is the +P ok in the PF-9? I know it has problems with some 147gr so I was leaning towards a 124/127gr +P.
Owners manual states it can handle +p but not to run alot of it. Mine likes 124gr Golden Sabers. I use the RWS 124gr from walmart for pratice.

I wouldn't go crazy with it. I ran a few magazines of 124 gr Gold Dots to test funtion (100%) and other than that it's regular plinking ammo.
Mine has been 100% w/ 147 HSTs, 124+p GDs, and 115 FMJs. 147 HSTs get the nod, as the 124+p are a bit snappy. Unfortunately, I am running low on the HSTs.
