Put a P07 on layaway!

Hungout with friends last night and stayed out of town, I had been looking for a CZ with a rail in 9mm for a while now (preferably the P07 or Phantom) and on the way home I was passing the oldest gunstore in the state so I figured what the heck, I'll stop in. Sure enough, they had a P07. Fit my hand perfectly, it was in the DA/SA setup and the trigger was a solid DA but short, and the SA was awesome. Natural point of aim for me too. Took me about 2 min to put $100 down on it and wait for my tax return next week to pick her up 
. Paid a little more for it than I cared to, but this is one of those gunstores that charge a little bit more BUT they are dang near guaranteed to have what you want. When I pick her up pictures will be taken of course

I picked up mine at Academy Sports for $399. Normally I'd prefer to buy from a local shop but no one could come within $50 difference so I went for the big box store. Just took it to the range and ran about 75 rounds thru it with no problems. best trigger for a $400 pistol in my opinion, very good ergonomics. OEM mags are $45 each but I heard that earlier CZ put them on sale for $35, if they go back on sale I'll grab another. Some earlier versions had an issue with a spring working it's way out of position and causing the frame to bulge, although it seems to be a cosmetic issue and can be pushed back into place CZ will do warranty work on that. Later guns supposedly have a stronger poly in the frame and a captured recoil spring. The CZ forum site has a dedicated board for P-07 Duty owners, there's some good info there.

I really think the p07 is a very underrated gun, I have over 1,000 rounds with mine and no problems what so ever. The ergos, accuracy, and trigger are so good. Plus crossbreed just started making holsters for them so maybe this gun will get some belt time.

They are coming out with an Od green one in April. That's gonna replace my od glock 19.
