Polish TTC slide locking after each shot
The slide on my TTC locks back after each shot. The slide lock keeps engaging, its not jamming otherwise. If I hold the slide lock down, it cycles like it should. I am pretty sure that the retainer clip for the slide lock is worn or warped, and because of this the slide lock is loose and jumping up due to recoil. Does anyone here have any experience with this or know of a fix?
1. try loading more than one round in the magazine,,,
2. move your thumb,,,
3. use different magazine.
On a serious note,
The side mount safety may be causing the problem by pushing back on the front of the magazine and allowing the slide stop to hit the top round in the magazine as the slide reciprocates.
Try removing the safety and shooting the gun to see if the problem goes away.
