Sterling .25...
Anyone ever own one?
Yes, I've owned one for 20 years or so. When I lived in PA and had a concealed carry permit it was my every day no matter what carry piece. I know the "experts" always talk down about 25's but I always dropped it into my back pocket when I got up in the morning. On most occasions when I had a jacket on I would carry my 1911 but still had the Sterling in my pocket. It did work to discourage a couple gentlemen one time I had to stop for a nature call at a parking area on interstate 81, I don't know what their true intentions were but one circled to my right the other to my left when approaching me but they changed their minds when the saw the little Sterling in my hand and ran to their car and took off. If the State of WI ever gets concealed carry I assure you it will be back in my pocket on a daily basis. Oh by the way, it shoots very well also nice groups on a 7 yard target.
yes paid all of $20 for it and all I can say is it went bang every time I pulled the trigger, very heavy trigger for a SA pistol, never would trust the safety to carry it cocked and locked though,if you can get it cheap buy it if yours dont work trade it off for something
The .25s tend to work much better than the .22s.
Pretty popular in my area as a back up gun for cops about 30 years ago.
